Summary
This unofficial web tool operates in three distinct modes with different privacy properties. The short version: detection and skill generation never leave your browser; only the optional rewrite sends text to a model provider.

L1 — Pattern Detection (local)
When you click Detect Patterns, your text is analyzed entirely within your browser using JavaScript. No text is sent to any server. Pattern detection is local, private, and does not require an internet connection after the page loads.
L2 — Rewrite (provider call)
The Humanize button currently runs entirely in your browser (rule-based rewrite) — your text is not sent anywhere. If a server-side rewrite (L2) is enabled in the future, it will be clearly labeled, and only then would your text be sent to the rewrite provider.
Do not submit text containing passwords, personal identification, or confidential business information.
L3 — Skill ZIP (local)
When you generate a skill ZIP, all processing happens in your browser. Your writing sample is never uploaded.
Analytics
We record anonymous first-party usage events, such as detect, humanize, and copy clicks. These events may include a randomly generated local identifier stored in localStorage, the current page path, the referring site hostname, campaign tags (utm), and bucketed values for character count, mode, and detected pattern count. We do not record any text you input or output, and we do not record your IP address.
For the first-party beacon, we do not record the text you input or output, and we do not record your IP address. We also use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a third-party analytics service operated by Google. Google may process page visits, device and browser information, referrer information, and your IP address for coarse geographic location on Google's side. You can opt out by enabling browser Do Not Track where supported or by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
